Major Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
Ukraine's power facilities have come under escalating strikes in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to blackouts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were injured while residents in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, as stated by local authorities.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a separate assault in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has increased strikes on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "substantial measures" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"The necessity is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and implementing penalties," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and several dozen missiles targeted energy facilities, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to restore power.

A series of attacks hit energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Government officials told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to demolish the national power system, with strikes already impacting gas facilities.
